The RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) conducts various exams on the basis of candidate qualification (BA, B.Com. M.A., Diploma, M.Com. Graduates, 10th pass, 12th, Degree, B. Tech., M. Tech., Pharmacy, Nurses so on). The RRB JE/SSE exams are held to check the eligibility of candidate for the post of Junior Engineer and the post of Senior Section Engineer.

Every year Indian RRB release large number of vacancies for the post of senior section engineer and Junior Engineer. There are nearly 4528 vacancies zonal wise.

 Eligibility Criteria for RRB JE|SSE Exam

The eligibility criteria of RRB Exams is depends on the Qualification and Age Limits.

 Qualification Eligibility:

 

Post	Qualification
JE	Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a Recognized University/ Institute.
SSE	Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation & Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering/ M.Sc Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

 

 Age Limits:

Candidates age should be between 18-32 years for Junior Engineer and 20-34 years for Senior Section Engineer.

RRB JE|SSE Exam Pattern  

 

There will be 2 Parts in RRB JE Exam Pattern which are as follows:


•    General Ability – 60 questions
•    Technical ability / General Science – 90 Questions

There will be Negative Marking of 1/3 Marks in the written exam.

RRB SSE Exam Pattern includes 100 questions and all the questions are to be answered in 90 minutes.
